This blog focuses on the story lines of characters which are all ultimately linked in some way and involved in our version of The Musketeers. It is neither a copy of Dumas’ work nor that of the BBC but the imagination of a group of writers who feel inspired to put pen to paper or fingers to the keyboard to share with you their wild imaginings. Each page focuses on one aspect to give depth and characterisation for a more enjoyable experience. (See the “About” page for list of characters).

Some extracts and story lines may have explicit sexual scenes and a warning will be given. But currently our focus is how all the characters adjust to war with Spain. Please feel free to leave your comments but all comments are subject to moderation by me, @Musketeer_Athos and my main co writer @Exquisite_Wren.

We write when we feel inspired and not by time constraints.

I highly recommend the queen’s post, “The Request” as it  forms the basis of a SL with @AddictveAramis, but all the work is worth a read. Even mine!

War can be a treacherous bind, that leaves those left to stand blind. We move forward at command, bearing our weapons like lovers, keeping our brothers at our sides, for the safety and prosperity of their majesty’s hides. And at the end of each day, our enemies souls are dragged to depths of hell, where demons wickedly dwell. Our muskets in hand as we lower them for rest, that brings another day and training to test. Bless my band of brothers O lord. Bring victory upon us as we make use of our muskets and swords. We fight country, we fight for their grace! Let not my essence fall out of place! At your will, let us return home, where our loved ones carve us not in stone! Let my brothers wake refreshed. Let them stand again for what we do best!
